Knob Noster passenger hospitalized after intersection crash

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – A crash in Johnson County injured a Knob Noster resident Monday evening.

Missouri Highway Patrol troopers reported two vehicles collided at the intersection of 801 and 600 Roads Monday night.

A vehicle driven by Michael Fitzwater, 43, was struck in the driver’s side by a second automobile, driven by Clay Epperson, 17.

An occupant in Fitzwater’s automobile, Flora Fitzwater, 37, reported moderate injuries. She was sent to Lee’s Summit medical center for treatment.
