CARROLLTON, Mo.- The last week of our regular season KRLI Sports Country 5th Quarter “Show-Me Standout” public poll featured some top players throughout the area that had big performances in playoff match ups.

Keegan Zdybel, a dynamic freshman for the Slater Wildcats, won the boys public poll with a total of 14 out of the 23 votes. There were only three players on the poll this week and Zdybel was nominated by Coach Yung for his 11-point performance vs Green City for a huge sectional playoff victory. The Wildcats unfortunately lost to Chamois in quarterfinal play just a week ago.

Sophmore standout Kennadie Crowe of the Norborne Pirates ran away in the girls public poll pretty easily. Crowe has had a stellar season and she’s been nominated to the poll multiple times. She garnered 481 votes of the 488 total and was a huge part of Norborne’s upset over Green City when she posted a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Lady Pirates finished their season last week losing to the Glasgow Lady Yellowjackets in the quarterfinals.
