Wanda Jean Boxley was last seen at a gas station in the Brookfield area on November 16th.  She’d been visiting with family members earlier in the day.

Family, friends, and law enforcement continue to comb the county in hopes of finding something.

“We’re doing a lot of retracing our steps, but we’re not sure what else to do,” said Sherwood.

Sherwood believes that, after this much time, there is little hope of finding her grandmother alive.

“It’s been too long.  And I really don’t think she would disappear without telling any of us where she was going,” said Sherwood, “So at this point, I guess how I can sleep at night is thinking she’s in heaven.”

Boxley was last seen driving a light yellow 1991 Mercury Marquis.  She is described as a white female, about five feet tall and 140 pounds.  She has grey hair that she dyes a reddish-brown color.
