The Lafayette County Health Department will be taking part in providing T-dap vaccinations throughout the month. The shots protect against pertussis, tetanus, and diphtheria. Any individual in regular contact with a newborn or any child entering the 8th grade is in need of the booster.
Clinics will be held on three different occasions throughout July. The Odessa Senior Center will host the event on the 16th from 3-6 p.m. Another clinic will be held at the health department on the 17th from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on the 23rd at the Concordia Community Center from 3-7 p.m.
Any individual attending any of these clinics will need to provide a copy of up-to-date shot records. The cost for the shots is a $10 administration fee.
