A Carrollton man already facing numerous felonies could add another case to the file. Timothy Boothe, 46, was arrrested by Highway Patrol troopers Thursday night in Carroll County. Boothe is now facing charges of felony possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He also had a misdemeanor warrant issued in one of the numerous cases against him. Boothe’s prior criminal record includes charges of driving while intoxicated and revoked, theft, receiving stolen property, passing bad checks, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and failure to return to confinement. Boothe’s most recent criminal case was filed in on Dec. 20. He was placed on a 24-hour hold Thursday night in the Ray County jail. Formal charges have not been filed at this time.
