Lexington Looking to Revitalize Downtown

Lexington is launching a new community initiative, called Missouri Main Street Connection (MMSC), which aims to bring the various community organizations under one roof to work toward a common goal, re-energizing downtown Lexington.
MMSC’s mission is to enhance the economic, social, cultural and environmental well-being of historic downtown business districts in Missouri, within the context of historic preservation. The community is invited to join the MMSC initiative.
When: Thursday, January 9th at 2:00 p.m.
Where: City Hall, 919 Franklin
What else: Opportunities are available to join MMSC-Lexington’s board of directors, chair a committee or serve as a volunteer.
Plans are underway to duplicate this session in the evening for individuals who may not be able to attend during the day. Stay tuned for more information.
