Lexington Wind Christmas Concert

The Lexington Wind Symphony will give its Christmas Concert Sunday afternoon.  Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Executive Director Jacob Lamb:

They are collecting donations for the Lexington Food Pantry, the Lexington Ministerial Alliance, and Friends of the Friendless No-Kill Animal Shelter.  “Basically we decided this because the Lexington and surrounding communities have been very, very, very supportive of our ensemble, and we feel like this is the best way to give back to them,” said Lamb.

The concert starts at 5:00 Sunday evening at the Lexington United Methodist Church.  The group will be decked out in Christmas lights and other holiday wear, and hot chocolate and refreshments will be served after the free performance.
