Local Youth Bring Home the Blue

Several area youth got out to show their prized animals during the 2014 Carroll County Fair. On Thursday, July 10, 2014, the small animal show was held at the Walnut Hills Fairgrounds in Carrollton, Missouri.

 

Jullian Alkire of Dawn brought home Best in Show with her Californian Senior Buck and she also had the Champion Meat Pen of three in the Rabbit Division.

 

Brylee Bowers of Bethany won Reserve of Show with his Mini Rex Senior Doe.

 

Also in the Rabbit Division, Marley Anderson of Dawn took home the Reserve Meat Pen Award.

 

In the Poultry Division, Holden resident, Jessica Farmer won Overall Best of Show and Overall Reserve of Show with her Bantam Cockerel and Bantam Rooster.

 

Echo Essick of Hale showed the Champion Live Market Pen of four. Jullian Alkire walked away with Reserve Honors in the Poultry Division.

In Photo, Echo Essick of Hale exhibited the champion meat pen at the Carroll County Fair.

Ten cents per ribbon point was sponsored by Carroll County Trust Company and Ray-Carroll County Gran Growers, Inc. and five cents a point was sponsored by Ag Power, Inc. Ribbons were sponsored by FCS Financial.
