Lone Jack Man Faces Multiple Charges

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has released the arrest report of a Lone Jack resident involved in a crash Sunday night.  Earl Speed, 41, is facing charges of assault, driving while intoxicated, failing to drive on the right half of the roadway, and no valid license.  Speed was reportedly driving north on County Road 1821 in Johnson County when he went off of the road, struck a bridge, and came to rest in a creek bed.  His passenger, Jessica Held, 22, of Kansas City, received moderate injuries in the crash.  Speed was booked and released from the Johnson County jail.
