Grow Mid-Missouri will hold their third Brown Bag Lunch event in Moberly Tuesday afternoon. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Administrator Diane Richardson:
This is a learning service provided by Grow Mid-Missouri. “The concept of Grow Mid-Missouri came about about a year ago when the Small Business Technology and Development Center here at MACC partnered with the Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation and the local Chamber of Commerce. Who all committed to creating a resource, or an ecosystem, for better reference for us, to the mid-Missouri area that would help grow and connect start-up businesses or small, growing businesses with other resources in our area,” said Richardson.
Grow Mid-Missouri will introduce each of their coordinators, and will discuss the importance of community support. “We have found that a community that is better-informed can provide better resources,” said Richardson, “The right investors, coaches, mentors, just whatever is needed to help those businesses become successful. What we really want to stress is, we want to take an in-depth look at both the start-up and grow pathways, so that everyone in attendance will have a better idea of what Grow Mid-Missouri can provide to entrepreneurs in the area.”
The event will be held at the Lodge in Moberly’s Rothwell Park from 12:00 to 1:00 on Thursday.
