Macon Co. Accident Injures Two

An accident in Macon County injured two people Friday evening.

The Highway Patrol reports lint Hipkins, 45, of Shelbina, was eastbound on U.S 36, five miles east of of Macon, when he struck another eastbound vehicle that was being towed by Charles Foreman, 54, of Anabel. The towed unit travelled off the roadway and overturned. The Hipkins vehicle travelled off the roadway and caught fire.

Both men were transported by private vehicle to Good Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries. The crash occurred at 5:40 p.m.
