Macon Police Arrest Two

Two men are facing drug charges after an early morning arrest in Macon. Officers made contact with a vehicle near the intersection of Missouri and Lake Streets. According to the police report, contraband related to the use of methamphetamine was discovered in the vehicle.

A 40-year-old Macon man was taken into custody. He faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and falsifying his identification. A 23-year-old Kirksville man faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The pair was put on a 24 hour hold in the Macon County Jail.
