Man, 51, Jailed After Allegedly Appearing in Court Drunk

A Ray County resident was taken into custody Thursday after he reportedly disrupted municipal court proceedings.  Bill Weisz, 51, of Richmond, allegedly appeared intoxicated, which was deemed unruly behavior by Judge Steve Salmon.  Weisz is being held in contempt of court, according to a report from the Richmond Police Department.  What brought Weisz to court in the first place was not disclosed.  Formal charges have not been filed at this time.
