Man, 52, Seriously Injured in Fiery Crash

Investigators with the Missouri State Highway Patrol said an Independence resident was taken to an area hospital following a fiery crash south of Kearney Wednesday night.  According to the accident report, Gerald Harrison, 52, went off of the road and struck a fence.  His vehicle then ignited.  Harrison was transported to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries.
