PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. — An arraignment was held Tuesday in Pettis County for a man accused of seriously injuring another man during a fight at a Sedalia bar.

After some confusion over an initial court date 37-year old Roy L. Vickers posted bond for felony first degree assault.

A probable cause statement says Vickers was identified on closed circuit television footage as the assailant in an attack at the ‘No Limits Bar’ which resulted in the victim being flown to Columbia with serious injuries.

Tuesday’s arraignment was postponed until July 24 at 1:30 p.m. for attorney status.

Vickers remains free on bond.
