Man arrested in Howard County accused of drug possession

HOWARD COUNTY, Mo. — A resident of Armstrong was detained by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Sunday morning in Howard County.

According to an arrest report, Richard C. Sprowl, 23, was arrested at 11:40 a.m. on Sunday.

He is accused of felony possession of a controlled substance (Oxycodone) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was taken to the Howard County jail for a 24-hour investigative hold. Formal charges are pending.
