A hearing in the case against a Henrietta resident is scheduled for Tuesday morning.  Ray County Prosecutor Danielle Rogers filed child pornography charges earlier this month against Stephen Conrad, 43.

Henrietta Police had taken possession of Conrad’s home after the city’s building inspector condemned it, citing unfit living conditions.  Authorities reported finding numerous pornographic photos during a subsequent search of the house.  In addition, police said they uncovered more than 43,000 questionable images on Conrad’s computer.  Envelops containing photos of girls, which were believed to have been taken from numerous locations in Ray and Lafayette counties including swimming pools in Richmond and Lexington, were also found, according to court documents.  Investigators said Conrad took some of the pictures from his car without the subjects knowing.

He was arrested by Richmond Police in the parking lot of the Ray County Library earlier this month.  Bond was set at $500,000 cash-only with special conditions.  Conrad’s hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. in a Ray County courtroom.
