Marijuana Growing Case to Continue

A Bates City resident is scheduled to appear in a Lafayette County Courtroom Tuesday morning.  Christopher Zevecke, 31, is facing charges that include possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute and unlawful possession of a firearm.  He was taken into custody after deputies served a search warrant on his home in February and found a marijuana-growing operation.

Zevecke is scheduled for a hearing at 9:00.  He is currently out on bond of $100,000.
