Manslaughter case must proceed in Lexington

LEXINGTON, MO – A Wellington man has a peremptory hearing Tuesday afternoon in the continuance of a manslaughter case.

According to a Highway Patrol report, Anthony Huffman, 25, was involved in a vehicle crash on Ike Skelton Bridge in February 2017 that killed Jesse Lee, 99. Huffman is charged with two counts of assault in the 2nd degree, along with the 2nd degree manslaughter charge.

The hearing is at 1:30 p.m. in Lexington.
