Manslaughter Case on Ray Co. Docket

A Richmond man charged in connection to a deadly accident in 2011 will have a docket hearing Tuesday morning.  Robert Aliff, 40, was allegedly driving while intoxicated when he crossed over into oncoming traffic and hit Gladys Stafford, 44.  Aliff’s passenger, Bruce Sodders, 59, was killed in the crash.  Aliff was charged in September with involuntary manslaughter, driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving, and driving while revoked.  His bond was set at $25,000.  Aliff is scheduled to appear in a Ray County courtroom at 8:30 a.m.
