A model train show is underway in Marceline on Saturday. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Chairman Dean Enyeart:
Enyeart said you don’t have to be a model train enthusiast to enjoy yourself; there’s something for the entire family. “There will be model trains set up for display that the kids can look at. It’s not all model trailns. There’s a lot of older things that have to do with the railroad themselves. The BNSF has brought a locomotive and two business cars from their fleet in for people to tour,” said Enyeart.
The show runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Walsworth Community Center, located at 124 East Richie in Marceline. Cost to attend is $4 for adults, but $3 with a canned food item. Children under 12 are free.
