Marshall Man Taken in for Questioning in Stabbing Death

45-year-old Terry Thompson is wanted for questioning in the death of 32-year-old Rebecca Fisher.

 On Thursday, 12-27-2012 at approximately 2100 hours, Law Enforcement received a tip from a concerned citizen to the whereabouts of Mr. Terry Thompson. Mr. Thompson was apprehended by the Missouri State Highway Patrol near Clarksville, Missouri. Mr. Thompson will be returned to Saline County where he will be detained on an investigative hold.

The Marshall Police Department is looking for a local man in connection to a stabbing death late last (Wed) night on Birchwood Circle.

Authorities and medical personnel responded to a residence there on a report of a woman identified as 32-year-old Rebecca Fisher of Marshall suffering from lacerations. She was found on the front porch, and was transported to Fitzgibbon hospital where she later died.

Police want to speak to 45-year-old Terry Thompson of Marshall. He is described as African-American, 5’ 11” and approximately 180 pounds.
