Marshall Man’s Case Continues in Mercer Co.

A Marshall man charged with seven felonies in Mercer County has rescheduled his criminal setting. Eugene Pattie, Junior, 64, is facing one count each of attempted murder, attempted forcible rape, burglary, kidnapping, and two counts of armed criminal action.

Pattie allegedly shot David Niemeyer on the Mercer Square the evening of May 10th. He is then accused of driving to the victim’s house and attempting to rape his wife, Virginia Niemeyer. He was then arrested by the police.

Pattie appeared in court August 7th, and his criminal setting was continued to September 11th at 9:00 a.m.
