Marshall Police Continue Drug Arrests

The number of arrests from a recent saturation patrol by the Marshall Police Department is now at ten. The department conducted a nine-month investigation into possible drug activity before making these arrests.

The most recent suspect is Brett Rose, 19, of rural Independence. He is charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance near schools. He was taken into custody by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, and his bond is set at $20,000.

Additional arrests are still expected.
