Marshall police ID of person of interest in Light house arson

UPDATE: (05/26/18, 4:30 p.m.) – On Friday, May 25, 2018, Tammy Jo Leonhardt, age 53, of Marshall, Missouri was arrested and later formally charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Arson 2nd Degree both Class D Felonies with a $7500.00 cash only bond in regard to this case.  Ms. Leonhardt is currently at the Saline County Justice Facility.  Thank you to everyone who provided tips and information

MARSHALL, MO – A case of suspected arson is being investigated by police in Marshall.

According to Sgt. Roger Gibson responders received reports of smoke after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night coming from Light House Thrift Store at the corner of Benton and Arrow Streets.

Photographs of a person of interest were distributed by police. They are asking for public assistance with identification.
