The Marshall Police Department hosts “Coffee With a Cop” Wednesday morning.  The program is open to everyone and is an opportunity to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know Marshall police officers.

Sgt. Roger Gibson said most of the time when the community interacts with police is in emergency situations, and it is not always an appropriate time for community building.

Police Chief Mike Donnell feels that this is a good community building opportunity and hopes that community members can take advantage of that.  It is a relaxed environment for a one on one with law enforcement.

“Coffee With a Cop” takes place at the Marshall McDonald’s, located at 816 West College, and will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
