Marshall Resident Injured

Two people were injured in an accident Sunday morning in Lafayette County.  According to the Highway Patrol, Maria Santos, 38, was driving near the intersection of Highways 20 and 23 when her brakes locked up and she skidded off the side of the road and hit a utility pole.  She and her passenger, Andrea Chavez, 15, were transported to I-70 Medical Center with minor injuries.
