Republican candidate for Attorney General, Ed Martin, is laying out his plans to “clean-up” that office. Click to hear KMZU’s Chelsea Wade talk to Martin:
“For far too long, the attorney general has done things without a lot of accountability and the attorney general is the lawyer for we citizens,”said Martin,” and we should demand that our lawyer be transparent and that has to do with record keeping. There were $4.6 million dollars of legal costs that were incurred by the current attorney general and they don’t have any paper trail or anything to back that up these outside lawyers and people who got these legal payments.”
Martin graduated from St. Louis University School of Law and served as chief of staff to Governor Matt Blunt. He will face Livingston County Prosecutor Adam Warren in the August 7th primary election.
