Meadville Pumpkin Festival is this Weekend
The Meadville Community will hold the Pumpkin Festival Saturday October 13th. The local FFA Chapter will kick off the day with a free community appreciation breakfast in the community center. Chapter President Mason Kiehl says they’ll serve pancakes, eggs and sausage.
“It’s going to be a free will donation, anybody that wants to can come. It’ll be from 7 to 9 a.m.”
The meal is open to anyone who would like to attend. Members will be up bright and early that morning getting things prepared.
“We usually do one breakfast a year, we’ve gotten pretty good at it.”
The chapter has other things on tap for the youngest Meadville residents.
“Were going to have a few activities throughout the day at the Pumpkin Festival.” Kiehl says, “we’ve got a peddle tractor pull and a petting zoo. if you’ve got a kid, come on out and you can enjoy that too.”
