The Grand River Technical School and the Missouri Department of Elementary, Secondary and Adult Education are partnering to sponsor a number of meetings for producers at the Litton Agricultural Education Center. The Chillicothe Young and Adult Farmer programs are open to all ages for the $30 annual dues. The following is a list of the remaining programs and topics that will be held over the next eight weeks.
January 16th – Liability Insurance Needs & Estate Planning with speakers Brent and Connie Hayden
January 23rd – 2014 Weather Outlook with Tony Lupo, UMC.
January 30th – Economic Outlook with Dr. Ron Plain, UMC.
February 6th – FAPRI Outlook with Dr. Patrick Westhoff, Director
February 13th – MSA NW District Meeting – Supper Meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.
February 20th – Machinery Technologies to Increase Yields with DQ Precision Planting.
February 27th – Low Cost Feed Alternatives with Mississippi Lime
March 6th – 2014 Crop Insurance Update with Sewell Agency representative.
All meetings will be held at the Litton Agriculture Education Center located at 1200 Fair St, Chillicothe, MO 64601. They will begin at 7:30 p.m. except for the February 13th supper meeting which will begin at 6:30 p.m.
