Metro Man Sentenced to 15 Years

A Lee’s Summit man will spend the next decade and a half in Federal Prison for a $1-million Meth conspiracy and illegal possession of a firearm. Clark L. Vanosdall, 45, was sentenced Friday by U.S. District Judge Gary Fenner to 15 years in prison and was also ordered to forfeit $100-thousand dollars to the government. Vanosdall pleaded guilty in May of 2012 to participating in a meth distribution operation from January of 2006 to May of 2010. At the time of his arrest he was also found to be in possession of a loaded .22 caliber pistol which he was prohibited from having due to a prior felony conviction. Vanosdall is the sixth defendant to be sentenced in the case.
