The Chariton County Sheriff’s Office and KC Metro Law enforcement continues to search for 28-year-old Rachel Koechner and her daughter Zoee Sandner. Authorities believe the pair may be being held against their will by the child’s father who is the ex-husband of Rachel. Chariton Co. Sheriff Chris Hughes says there was a development in the case earlier today.
The license plate on the truck is listed as O P J 718. Rachel Koechner is described as 5’8” tall, 230 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes with a dollar size tattoo on her left ankle of a mushroom. Her daughter Zoee is described as 4 feet tall, approximately 60 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. The ex-husband, 37-year-old Devon Sandner is a white male 5’ 8” tall, 217 pounds with brown eyes. The Chariton County Sheriff has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a
missing person incident that occurred at 118 South St, Rothville, MO at
10:30 AM on 03/14/2013.
Rachel M. Koechner a white, female, age 28
Zoee Sandner a white, female, age 4
Gray 2003 Ford F150 pickup bearing Missouri, 0PJ718 last seen in Blue
Possible suspects or associates are believed to be:
Devon Sandner, a white, male, age 37, hgt 603, 185 lbs, brown hair, brown
eyes, fair complexion.
The endangered missing person:
Rachel M. Koechner, is a white, female, age 28, hgt 505, 200 lbs, brown
hair, blue eyes, fair complexion, with mushroom ring tattoo on left ankle,
wearing black shirt, blue jeans, and camouflage-colored cowboy boots.
Brief circumstances regarding the Endangered Missing Person incident
Rachel Koechner and her juvenile daughter Zoee Sandner were last seen on
March 14, 2013 and are believed to be with Devon Sandner, Zoee’s father.
Mr. Sandner has made past threats to do physical harm to Rachel Koechner.
Both Rachel and Devon have a history of mental illness. At this time,
Rachel has been taken off of her medication.
