CLIFTON HILL, Mo. — The Missouri Farm Bureau President has issued a statement regarding EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt’s Visit to Missouri today.

Pruitt and Senator Roy Blunt were scheduled to speak at the Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. Thomas Hill Energy Center in Randolph County.

Blake Hurst, the Missouri Farm Bureau President, stated, “Missouri is proud to host U.S. EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt on his ‘Back-to-Basics’ tour. We are encouraged that it is a new day at the Agency, one in which all sides are heard and common sense will be considered in decisions that affect people’s lives and economic livelihood.”

The Missouri Farm Bureau has expressed their support for Pruitt in the past and it seems like they are looking forward to see what he will accomplish later.

Representative Vicky Hartzler and Missouri Department of Agriculture Director, Chris Chinn, also attended the event.
