Orrick High School will host Governor Jay Nixon Friday afternoon. Nixon is expected to discuss plans for improving educational opportunities in the state, as well as acknowledge the school for its progress in attaining A-plus designation. The event will get underway at 1:15 p.m.
Gov. Jay Nixon will visit Orrick High School in Ray County tomorrow (Jan. 11) to recognize the school for its progress in becoming an A+ designated school and to discuss his plans for improving educational opportunities for all Missouri students.
