The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill has issued a flood warning for the Missouri River in Waverly, Miami, Glasgow, and Boonville.  A flash flood watch will go into effect Wednesday afternoon.  Heavy rain is expected throughout the day.  Forecasters said the storm system could produce isolated tornadoes.  Winds could gust as high as 20 miles per hour at the height of the storm.  One to two inches of rain is possible, with locally higher amounts of three to four.  Drivers should use extreme caution on Missouri roadways.
