“We were in a partnership with the state,” Higgins said. “They pulled out on April 30.”

Higgins said more than 2,000 people on unemployment benefited from the center every month. She also said it is possible a new satellite office could open in Moberly, but also stated that it could be months before that course of action could be taken.
