Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to downtown Columbia on a report of suspicious activity Wednesday morning just before 11. The deputies located the suspect vehicle and followed it to a few more retail stores, finally making a stop in the Crossroads Shopping Center parking lot. The driver was cited for driving while revoked while the passenger was arrested on an outstanding felony drug warrant out of St. Charles County. During the search of the vehicle deputies reportedly found a fully functional meth lab. Additional deputies were called in to dismantle the lab. 29-year-old Jonathan David Wadlow of Hallsville now faces charges of Driving While Revoked and manufacture of a controlled substance. 26-year-old Joseph W Turner of Sturgeon faces the warrant charges and is also charged with manufacture of a controlled substance.
