MoDOT crews will be completing a resurfacing project on Route 129 in Linn County in the town of Bucklin later this year. The project will require the removal of existing pavement so a replacement surface can be installed. That will include approaches and sidewalks as well. This also required the Department of Transportation to contact over 40 property owners along 129 to obtain temporary easements. There will be a meeting with MoDOT’s Northwest District Right of Way Staff at the Bucklin Community Center this Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information on the project you can contact MoDOT by phone at 1-888-ASK-MODOT.
