There are several road projects to look out for in area counties starting today and that includes in Caldwell Co. where crews will be pothole patching on Route CC from Hamilton to Route HH in Daviess Co. through Tuesday. Also in Caldwell crews will be conducting pavement repairs on U.S. Hwy 36 in the westbound driving lane from Route M to Panther Road on Wednesday.

In Carroll Co. crews will be working all week on various routes performing drainage work, signing and spraying operations.

Moving over to Chariton Co. crews will close Route YY from Pershing Road to Kaye Road for culvert replacement Monday from  8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crews in Chariton will also perform drainage work on Route 5 at Brummal Rd. south of U.S. Hwy 24 Monday. Drainage work will also be conducted on U.S. Hwy 24 a mile west of Route MM through Friday.

In Daviess Co. crews will be pothole patching on Route CC from Hamilton in Caldwell Co. to Route HH through Tuesday and on Route HH on Wednesday. Crews will also conduct culvert replacement on  Route O. It will be closed from Route 6 to the end of state maintenance through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Also in Daviess Route DD at the I-35 overpass, crews will perform bridge deck repair all week. That zone will include a 10-foot width restriction.

Work in DeKalb Co. will include Route 6. Crews will be doing pavement repair and lane widening from U.S. Hwy 31 north to U.S. Hwy 69 through Friday. That zone will also carry a 10-foot width restriction. Other work in DeKalb includes shoulder work on U.S. Hwy 69 Southbound from Route EE to I-35 through Thursday. Crews will also do guardrail installation on Business Loop 35 at the I-35 overpass through Friday.

In Grundy Co. work on Route A from U.S. Hwy 65 to 50th Street will focus on pothole patching, Monday. Crews will also be patching Route E through Friday.

In Linn Co. crews will close Route P from Genoa Road to Hacker Road for  culvert replacement Monday from  8 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Route E crews will be patching all week and on various routes, crews will perform shoulder work all week long.

And finally in Livingston Co. road crews will conduct pavement repair on U.S. Hwy 65 two miles south of  Hwy 36 with one lane closed at all times through Thursday. Traffic signals will be in place to assist motorists.

And in most counties on various routes, crews will be performing shoulder work, signage and spraying operations, so keep a lookout for trucks and workers on the lettered routes.
