MoDOT Monday – February 25th

MoDOT had its hands full this past week clearing roadways after a huge winter storm moved through the region. Now crews will focus more on maintenance. Area engineer Mike McGrath says things will start to get back to normal after another round of winter weather moves through.

Work scheduled to begin this week includes culvert replacement on Route BB in Saline County between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily through Friday. In Grundy County culvert replacement is also scheduled for Tuesday on Route Z between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. and should be completed that day. In Gentry County Route C will be worked on for pavement repairs in three sections. The first is just south of Route J, north of Albany, that work will be conducted on Tuesday. The second section is between J and south of Route FF on Wednesday and Thursday. The third section north of FF and south of M will be worked on Friday. All three days pavement repair will be conducted between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. And in Cooper County I-70 will be reduced for bridge maintenance over the Lamine River Wednesday and Thursday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
