Another week begins and road crews have a fresh set of projects to undertake. Area Engineer Mike McGrath gives us a rundown of projects in his district.

Other work in the area includes Carroll Co., where crews will work on Route D Monday through Wednesday and they’ll also work on 139 and Route U, performing pothole patching.

In Chariton Co. Route 5 from U.S. Hwy 24 to one mile south of U.S. Hwy 25, crews will be doing drainage work Monday through Friday. Crews will also be on U.S. Hwy 24 from one-half mile west of Route MM to one and one-half miles west of Route MM for drainage work all week long.

In Daviess Co. crews will be on Route D from Route CC to Route J for pothole patching Monday through Friday. Also, Route HH from Route CC to the end of state maintenance crews will be pothole patching Wednesday through Friday.

In Grundy Co. crews will work on Route C at the Weldon Fork of the Grand River near Spickard doing bridge maintenance all week. On Route A, from Route C to U.S. Hwy 65 crews will be pothole patching.

In Linn Co. Route B is closed at the Locust Creek Bridge, until further notice. Route 129, from U.S. Hwy 36 to Route 11, crews will be doing shoulder work all week long.

And in Livingston Co. on Route H crews will be pothole patching all week, plus, Route V at the railroad bridge in Chillicothe near Broadway and Polk, crews will be grading all week.

In all counties crews will continue several mowing, brush cutting, pothole patching and signing operations on various routes. Some work may require lane closures and delays can be expected.
