MoDOT had its hands full again this past week clearing roadways after a second winter storm in less than a week. This week work is very limited as crews are still finishing clearing secondary roadways and county routes of snow and ice refreeze. One project starts today in Cooper County. Crews will perform bridge maintenance on Missouri 41. The work will be done between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. through March 8th. The bridge will be reduced to one lane over the Lamine River just north of I-70. Starting Tuesday the 5th Route C in Macon County will have culvert replacement done from Harbor Street south to Route T from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. In Boone County, shoulder work will be conducted on Missouri 163 Monday through Thursday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. The work will be from Research Park Drive south to the Jewell Cemetery State Historic Site.
