Monsanto, Carroll Co. Farmers H.E.L.P.

Carroll Co. farmers Elizabeth Pierson and husband Rick till the land just south of Highway 10 in the bottoms and Elizabeth’s name was entered in an annual Monsanto Fund Charity promotion giving donations to charity of recipient farmer’s choice. Since Mo. was declared a disaster area in 2012 due to the drought, Monsanto doubled the initial $2,500 gift.

House of My Father will use the donation to replace the furnace, sill plate and main support beam at the shelter while H.E.L.P. Services will distribute their portion to Carroll Co. residents struggling to pay their utility bills.
