A Chillicothe woman, who was on the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department’s Most Wanted List, has been captured. Melissa Kendrick, 31, was arrested Thursday on one count of felony theft/stealing and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in a ritual/ceremony. She was able to post ten percent of a $10,000 bond and was released from custody, according to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department. Online court records, however, indicate Kendrick was not able to post bond and was transported to the Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail. She will return to court on May 1 at 9:00 a.m. for a preliminary hearing.
