A new member was sworn in at Monday night’s Board of Aldermen meeting in Concordia. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with City Administrator Dale Klussman:
Ward Two Alderman Ken Landes stepped down in July. Mayor Donald Holtcamp recommended Mark Luetjen as a replacement until the April election.
“The Board did approve him. That was done at a special meeting prior to the Board of Aldermen meeting,” said Klussman, “And that took us right into the regular meeting, where he was sworn in.”
The Board also held a public hearing at 8:00 on the 2013/2014 tax rate. The rate will stay the same as last year at .5525 percent.
