New judge takes over Henry County molestation case

HENRY COUNTY, Mo. – A new judge held his first hearing in a Henry County molestation case Thursday morning.

After a motion for change of judge by Christopher A. Hidy, 43, of Windsor, Judge Jerry Rellihan presided over a criminal setting on three felony counts of statutory sodomy or attempted sodomy, two counts of felony child molestation and a single charge for tampering with a witness in a felony prosecution. Hidy was accused by three members of his girls softball team of inappropriate touching in July of this year.

A preliminary hearing has been set for February 7, 2019.
