A Hardin teen is scheduled to appear in a Ray County courtroom Friday morning. The Missouri Supreme Court assigned a new judge in late June to preside over the case against Randy Estenbaum, 18.
The teen is facing charges related to acts that he and several other juveniles allegedly carried out in a high school locker room last fall. Estenbaum was charged in February with forcible sodomy, third-degree assault, and two counts of sexual misconduct. His hearing will get underway at 10:30 a.m.
Jeffrey Ellis, 17, a second person charged in the case, will have a preliminary hearing Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 2:30 p.m.
