New Municipal Judge

A new municipal judge has been appointed in Knob Noster.  Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Judge James Hall:

Hall said he will deal with ordinance violations brought in by the local police department.  “Those can range anywhere from minor traffic offenses, speeding tickets, and stop sign violations.  They can be more serious offenses such as driving while intoxicated, driving revoked, or possession of controlled substances or drug paraphernalia.  Those types of things,” said Hall.

Hall currently serves as the municipal judge in Warrensburg, Sweet Springs, La Monte, and Higginsville.  Knob Noster’s Municipal Court is held the fourth Tuesday of every month.  Hall begins his duties in May.
