In January of 2012 the Livingston County Sheriff’s office launched their website and now they are asking for the public’s help to update the images on their page.

They are looking for photos that reflect the communities, county, live, values and scenic setting of the Livingston County area.

“The photos on the rotator now have been there since the beginning,” said Sheriff Steve Cox. “If they want to show off their kid, their family, car, their livestock, church or farm, whatever, we just want the community to participate.”

The images must be in digital form and you can submit more than one photo if you choose. Photos can be sent in .jpeg format to by noon on the 10th of June.

Be sure to include your name, contact information and any disclosure requested with the photographs. It may also be necessary to sign an Authorization of Internet Use Waiver depending on the image.

All images that are submitted will be reviewed by a committee of LCSO staff that will reduce the group to 3 to 4 that will be displayed on the webpage.
