CONCORDIA, Mo – A meeting of the Concordia Board of Aldermen Tuesday was delayed due to observation of Monday’s federal holiday.

One scheduled item considers the cost of a proposed site for a yard waste facility, and wall construction.

Also included in the agenda, the new police chief, Clint Raynes, will take an oath prior to taking office.  He replaces outgoing chief, James Lynn, now retiring after 30 years in law enforcement.

The Lion’s Club will make a presentation of their challenge donation to support the Concordia Entrance Project.

The meeting is 7 p.m. in the Community Building.
